My husband is the greatest, especially cause he can put up with me, and still love me! :) what can i say i have quite a stubborn streak sometimes. No offense taken! Just a compassion for a friend learning to trust. We all have issues among the ones that Pastor Brother In Law touched on where we must learn to trust, trust more, trust honestly. We're in a difficult season here ourselves, and a different kind of trust is being built. The one thing I DO know is that He is faithful and He can be trusted. On that, I allow Him to build my trust. For when I try to build the trust myself, I leave holes in the walls and chinks in the mortar. When HE builds, the foundation is steady and sure.
Another thing is to also trust your hubby. Beginning a family is a big change of life and unless you have a happy surprise, it's very helpful to have that intimacy and trust strong and sure between you. You'll need it when you are walking the hall with a crying baby or rushing to the ER with a broken bone from little boy play. That's one of the benefits of being able to take these first couple years to build each other up and shore up your foundations!
Finally, ask God to help you be content and even enjoy where you are now - it has been a key for me when I've struggled with the "not knowing" of His plans and His timing.
